Our Team

We are seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Vista Controllership team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to navigate new challenges, take initiative, own outcomes, and work independently and will have strong experience in accounting, month end close procedures. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and timely completion of our financial close cycles. This role will report directly to the Director, Corporate Controller.

What You Will Do

• Own the day-to-day accounting for portions of our North American manufacturing operations, including general ledger management and balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process for portions of our North American manufacturing operations
• Own key operational accounting activities, including fixed assets, leases, inventory, and payroll
• Ensure financial activities are aligned with US GAAP and local statutory requirements
• Partner with local operations and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and provide accounting support
• Assist in the development, implementation, and refinement of accounting processes and internal controls
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed to support decision-making

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA certification is preferred
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience required
• Proven experience with the accounting for operations in Mexico
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred
• Thorough understanding of US GAAP
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take initiative in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar size ERP system is preferred
