  • Assist with managing the Company’s IP portfolio including trademark and copyright registrations, patent harvesting, takedown requests, and IP enforcement

  • Stay abreast of relevant legal and regulatory developments, anticipate business needs, and help prepare for and minimize risks that may arise in the future

  • Partner closely with the Commercial Legal team to advise on customer deals and a variety of partnership models from resellers to technology partners

  • Project manage a variety of company initiatives, product workflows and incident response action including but not limited to: cross-functional risk management, non-standard and bespoke product offerings, third party complaints and disputes

  • Identify issues that may fall outside your expertise, driving resolution by partnering with other members of the Legal team and with outside counsel

  • Assist with the review of marketing content

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • A Juris Doctor degree and 8-10 years of relevant experience with high-growth, publicly-traded companies

  • Active membership with a U.S. state bar in good standing

  • Expertise in legal risks; prior experience working with big data strongly preferred

  • Impeccable communication skills, with the ability to translate legalese into vernacular that everyone can understand

  • A “team player” mentality and solution-oriented mindset

  • Sound business judgment and solid experience resolving complex issues with integrity and confidentiality

  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and critical thinking skills

  • Proven ability to own tasks and work independently, as well as effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders by adapting to different management and work styles

  • An independent, patient, and thoughtful demeanor while being adept at managing shifting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment
