Job Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient Rehab
Location:
Falmouth, Chatham, Plymouth, or Hyannis, MA
Job Type:
Contract

Schedule Options:

  • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Every other Saturday required
  • Rotating weekly schedule
  • Every other weekend and rotating holiday coverage

Position Overview:

A well-established outpatient rehabilitation center in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join their multidisciplinary team. This contract position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including both adults and pediatrics, in a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and design individualized, goal-oriented treatment plans
  • Perform diagnostic assessments to evaluate functional status and impairments
  • Implement and adapt therapeutic interventions based on patient progress
  • Educate patients and families on treatment techniques and home care programs
  • Accurately document patient care activities, progress notes, and communications
  • Collaborate closely with referring physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Supervise and mentor PT assistants, aides, and students as needed
  • Uphold departmental policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and in-service training

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum of one year of outpatient physical therapy experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and clinical reasoning skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Clinical Specialist Certification (if applicable)
  • Experience working with both pediatric and adult populations
  • Prior leadership or mentorship experience
