Overview

KVOA is looking for a creative and hard-working photojournalist/editor. The ideal candidate is a team player who can produce great stories under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities include shooting and editing day to day news, in-depth features and investigative assignments. You must have a strong work ethic, editing skills in non-linear edit systems, possess excellent people skills, and a great attitude. A passion for storytelling is essential in this position.

Qualifications

• At least one year of videography and editing experience
• Strong photography and editing skills are critical
• Ability to respond quickly and appropriately to breaking news events
• Must have the ability to make quick decisions

Additional Requirements

• A pre-employment background check is required.
• Good driving record. Must possess or be able to obtain an Arizona driver’s license.
• Must be able to use, transport, and lift equipment weighing approximately 50 pounds.
