Mountain Valley Community School is looking for a FT- Secreatry to the Principal,(211 dys/yr.) to work as part of our team. Looking for a person who is organized, has attention to detail and love children. Secretarial and/or office management experience necessary.

Mountain Valley Community School (MVCS) is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and friendly individual to serve as our school secretary. This is a 211-day position beginning July 1, 2025, with the expectation that the successful candidate will work throughout the month of August in preparation for the upcoming school year. 

This position supports all grade levels and is essential to the smooth operation of our school. We are looking for someone who can manage a wide range of responsibilities with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide general administrative support for all grade levels, including answering phones, greeting families, staff, students, and visitors, and managing day-to-day office tasks. 
• Maintain and oversee the student activity account for grades 6–8. 
• Manage student enrollment for grades 6-8, ensuring accurate and timely processing of records. 
• Call subs for 6-8 staff. 
• Input and maintain the schoolwide schedule for grades 6–8 in PowerSchool. ? Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal to support the effective functioning of the school. 
• CHRC is required.

• Be highly organized, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Possess strong technology skills, including experience with student information systems (PowerSchool preferred), Google Suite. 
• Demonstrate clear and professional communication skills in both verbal and written interactions.
