Job Description

SWA is an award-winning landscape architecture, planning, and urban design firm practicing across the United States and internationally. We are a 100% employee-owned, design-first group practice, dedicated to benefiting the world through our work. Our work is recognized for its visionary aesthetics, exceptional functionality, keen understanding of design, and strong emphasis on environmental sustainability.

We are currently seeking talented, design-oriented candidates to fulfill substantial roles in our Dallas, TX studio. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: design, 3D modeling and rendering, producing presentation graphics, preparing construction drawings/documents, project management, coordination with and presentations to clients and consultants, attending and conducting meetings, and travel.

Candidates are required to submit a resume and a portfolio of graphic design skills and previous work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of work experience with a U.S. based landscape architecture firm.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Landscape Architecture
  • Strong design skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with: AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Sketch-Up or Rhino
  • Additional experience with the following is highly desirable: Revit, Lumion, Grasshopper, ArcMap/ArcGIS
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully direct the work of junior staff and train entry level designers
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to take direction
  • Sense of accountability and self-motivation
  • Positive attitude
